Ken Cox MA RCAWith his recent work Ken Cox subverts the form of vintage American comic books with multilayered, collaged screenprints that reflect preoccupations with time, love, loss and identity. He has exhibited in many galleries, restaurants and other venues in and around London. Ken has worked extensively in advertising and publishing as a freelance illustrator and cartoonist for newspapers including The Telegraph, Times, Financial Times, Independent and Guardian, plus many magazines, books and periodicals, covering a wide range of subjects from food, travel and health to politics, law, technology and finance. He has lectured in design and drawing for many years with fashion and knitwear students at Nottingham Trent University and has illustrated several children's books. Aside from the visual arts Ken sings and plays guitar with a jazz combo called Bluesette. He also writes his own material and has performed in many pubs, clubs and venues including The Chelsea Arts Club, Black's and The Cobden Club. clients
