What are my payment options?

We accept £GBP Sterling cheques for mail orders and we accept online payments through PayPal. This means that you can pay online using the following credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Switch, Solo and American Express (but not AmEx Corporate Cards). If you have already set up a PayPal account you can also make payments directly from that account. We also accept a selection of different currencies.

How do I buy online?

Simply click on the PayPal 'Buy Now' (or 'Pre-Order') button alongside the item you wish to purchase and then follow the on-screen instructions. You will be taken to PayPal's online shopping basket where you will be able to view any other items that you have added to your basket, add or remove items, and alter the quantities of your order. You will then proceed to PayPal's online checkout where you will be asked for your delivery address and credit card details. After your order is complete you will see a confirmation screen and receive a confirmation e-mail from PayPal.

How do I buy offline?

Print out our Mail-Order Form and fill in the details of your order in block capitals. Then send the completed form with a £GBP Sterling cheque (drawn on a British bank) to the Royal Jelly Factory address on the top of the form. Don't forget to include a telephone number or e-mail contact in case there is a problem with your order!

Can I pay by telephone?

Unfortunately, we cannot currently accept payments over the telephone. However, some of our stockists offer telephone-ordering services - you can find a selection of them on our stockist list.

What are pre-orders?

We sometimes offer the opportunity to order books before they are released. You can place an order for one of these items in the same way as you would anything else - just look for the 'Pre-Order' button in place of the usual 'Buy Now' button. Whenever you see a 'Pre-Order' button alongside an item, you will also find information on its expected publication date. If you place a pre-publication order, we will send your books out to you as soon as we receive them from the printer. Please note that publication dates are subject to change.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a company that enables any individual or business with an e-mail address to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. PayPal is owned by the online auction site eBay, it has over 150 million account members worldwide, and handles about $1 billion in transactions every week. We use PayPal because it is secure, simple to use, and cost effective for small organizations like ourselves. Find out more about PayPal at www.paypal.com.

How secure is online ordering?

As soon as you begin the purchasing process on our website, you are taken to PayPal's servers via a secure connection. PayPal uses the industry standard Secure Socket Layer protocol (SSL), just like online banks do, and uses 128-bit encryption - which is the highest level commercially available. All of the ordering and payment processes take place on PayPal's secure servers where your payment can be transferred into our PayPal account - we never get to see your credit card details. To find out more about PayPal's security, visit its Security Center, and in particular its Data Security and Encryption section.

What are your delivery charges?

Total charges for deliveries are £1.00 GBP per item (up to a maximum of £5.00) - no matter where you are in the world. Therefore, if you order three items you will be charged £3.00 for postage and packaging, and if you order five or more items you will be charged £5.00.

If you're ordering online, delivery charges will be automatically calculated by the online shopping basket. If you are using our Mail-Order Form, you'll need to calculate these charges yourself.
